Skyline Exhibits Launches Certified Exhibit Installation and Service Network
Certified I&D Available In Top North American Venue Cities
ST. PAUL (May 18, 2010) -- Intent on setting the standard for trade show exhibit installation
and dismantle (I&D), Skyline Exhibits has created an extensive training program for service professionals
throughout its dealer network.
"Our service network has always been well respected," said Craig S Tedrow, Skyline's Director
of Global Services. "The intent of the Certification program is to apply a common set of
practices and a shared level of expectation across individual teams. That unification will ensure
clients a positive - and consistent - installation experience regardless of where they exhibit."
"We know exhibiting can be challenging," added Michael Vekich, Executive Chairman of
Skyline Exhibits. "With so many details to manage relative to their show, exhibitors are looking
for partners they can rely on to make it easier. Certifying our I&D teams assures us that our
clients are receiving the most responsive, most professional service -- whether it's for a simple
inline or large island exhibit."
Certification is achieved over time by completing three phases of training. The program includes
industry education, extensive training on Skyline products and systems, pre- and post-show
follow-through, final assessment and client relations. Certification is maintained through ongoing
performance measurement and training.
"Having completed the program myself, I know how other Skyline Certified I&D dealers are
going to take care of my clients," stated Mike Mills, I&D Manager and Field Supervisor for Skyline Central Florida.
"There's comfort in knowing my clients exhibiting in other cities are going to get the same great
level of care that I give them here in Orlando."
To date, 15 Skyline dealers have completed the Certification program covering the most popular
venue cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Las Vegas, Orlando and Toronto. An additional 5
dealers are well into the certification process, including Skyline's dealer in Guadalajara, Mexico.
There are also plans to extend the Certified I&D program to Skyline dealers world wide.
"We're pleased with the results," concluded Vekich, "When clients take the time to write letters
expressing their appreciation, you know you're doing something right."
